Wow. Being from the UK it's pretty weird to hear of people buying guns for Christmas! I can't imagine being able to casually own one.

The iPhone 4 will be a year and a few months old by September. I guess Apple can afford to wait simply because the iPhone brand has a good deal of market power, but it's still strange because their competition will be head over heels ahead of them. I hope iOS 5 is out before fall.

It's definitely not perspective. You can see the metal piece is raised higher because the white sections are thicker than the black sections. A 2 year old could figure this out.

C'mon Apple keep it professional and unified. Man they should stick to working on the user experience and internals, not goofy color schemes and such. OS X already looks cool they don't need to make it look kiddy now!:eek:

That's my guess.
Purchase apps and have them available for install without synchronization on ipad, ipod, iphone without plugging the device in.
Honestly, I don't think my version of it is correct but MobileMe is as good a guess as any other.

As usual American's (yeah I'm American) love to blame someone for their own responsibility. It's so weird how people on here fight for freedom from the lockdowns that Apple puts on it's developers, freedoms from the limitations and restrictions Apple puts on the iPhone (hence why people jailbreak). Yet when a parent doesn't take accountability for their absence of judgement and legal obligation to be responsible for their child, everyone goes off on Apple for not having the protections in place to prevent this?
What people want is more choice. They're not asking Apple to disable app purchases by default, just put in some simple safeguards that make mistakes like this less likely.
You really believe that failing to log out should be a $1000 mistake? For an app they'll never use? What if the app cost $10,000? $100,000? $1 million? Would they need to go take out a loan and pay spend the rest of their lives paying off the app loan? It's a good thing Apple disagrees with you.

I hope to GOD this doesn't actually make it to the final product. This is so unbelievably ugly I can't even take it. One of the reasons I love OS X is because of how cohesive it is. Most of the apps follow the interface guidelines which makes it feel unified and not the cobbled together mess that is Windows. To me, this just looks cheesy. It works for iOS but not for the Mac imo.

Just updated�Now having a problem with people hearing me. If i use speaker phone they can hear me just fine. I have done a voice memo, and it sounds like I'm being recorded at half volume. Anyone else having this problem :mad:

Apple has it all down to a science. They probably have algorithm's for getting the most possible money out of you.....if you don't see this your blind...Wait for something that actually makes a difference...not just a different color. As if they ever intended to release the white iphone at the same time as the black one hahahaha :rolleyes:

and amazon is getting sued :D. aka, will start to charge customers more to recoup the costs.

If there is one thing Amazon doesn't need to worry about - it's the lawyers, they got plenty of them!
Plus, even if they charge a bit more to recoup the costs - they have huge advantage in that a) they are already there and b) they aren't cloud n00bs with one freshly baked data center close only to the US :)

It's about time. But I've had a wireless mouse/keyboard set when I got my iMac G5 Rev. A back in the day, and I quickly got rid of it. I was sick and tired of changing the damn batteries every few weeks. I never mouse or type away from my desk, so I had no use for it, and I'd rather have the ugly wires than deal with the annoyance of buying/changing batteries often. Now, if they were rechargeable (in a dock, I don't want to have to take them out and put them in a seperate charger), I could see using them.
apple could use firewire cables (like the iPods) to recharge wireless keyboards and mice.

How long after you make a purchase does the App Store remember your password so you don't have to enter it again? I presume that's what happened in this case.
Apple definitely should give you a warning that you're about to purchase an app more costly than $75. Although this kid obviously only went to the app because of its cost.

I've been waiting patiently for this white 4, suffering with my white 3G for it. I really just can't wait til at least the fall for the 5, so I'll probably be picking one of these up.
I can't be stuck with my 3G and its 100 dollar a month cost any more!
